INTERCEPT®
Oral fluid drug testing1
The use of oral fluid (saliva) as a biological specimen for the detection of drugs of abuse is growing in popularity within the workplace. The increased popularity of oral fluid drug testing is due to inherent advantages over the standard urine drug test. Oral fluid specimen collection using Intercept is simple and non-invasive. Collection can occur at any time or location without embarrassment to the donor.
The specimen can be collected from the donor under direct observation, thus minimizing the potential for specimen tampering and/or adulteration. Oral fluid drug concentrations can be related to plasma free-drug concentrations and the pharmacological effects of drugs. As a result, oral fluid drug concentrations can provide information similar to that provided by plasma or blood drug concentrations.
Consideration should be given to the effect that some drugs or medical conditions have on the donor's ability to secrete oral fluid. As a result, oral fluid may not be available from all individuals at all times.2
Intercept tests for the following drug classes:
Amphetamines (including Ectasy)
Cocaine
Marijuana
Opiates
Phencyclidine (PCP)
Sex Offender National Regiatry
Our Sex Offender check is conducted through the Department of Justice portal, which offers access to data from each state’s registry.
Reported information includes the offender’s name, description of the offense, personal description, photograph, address, place of employment or name of school, and description of the offender’s vehicle and license plate number.
Megan’s Law, passed in 1996, is an amendment to the Jacob Wetterling Crimes Against Children and Sexually Violent Offenders Act. Megan’s Law establishes that each state and the federal government are required to maintain a registry of individuals who have been convicted of sex crimes against children. Furthermore, states are required to make personal and private information of convicted sex offenders available to the public and for certain crimes, proactive community notification is required.
Protect your Company, your Employees and your Customers along with your Reputation from unknowlingly hiring a Registared Sex Offender.
